The source of movement for this type of system is atmospheric pressure. In this architecture vacuum is generated by means of rotary lobe blowers which usually generate a pressure differential equivalent to 50% of the atmosphere of the installation site of the system, these systems are very sensitive to the height above sea level of the where they are implemented.
The basic architecture comprises a material source, a transport pipeline, an atmospheric air intake system at the transport start point, a solid product separator at the transport end point and a vacuum blower. These systems are normally used in distances less than 30 meters and low transport heights.
